Last week, Apeloa Pharmaceutical held a celebration for the opening of the CDMO Global Innovative Drug Research and Development Production Service Platform and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Innovation Forum. In attendance were more than 50 international and domestic pharmaceutical companies as well as a number of special guests and the company's management team. A total of more than 120 people gathered together to witness and celebrate this important milestone.

At the celebration ceremony, Zhu Fangmeng first delivered a speech to welcome guests and express his gratitude. Within his speech, he announced that the CDMO Platform integrates advanced manufacturing and the modern service industry. The project covers an area of 129 acres with plans to build 18 individual buildings, a construction area of 69,000 square meters, and a total investment of over 2 billion yuan. The project has been under construction for more than three years and at present, the first phase of the project has been completed, including 1 building for CDMO Research & Development and 3 buildings for production workshops. The platform uses advanced continuous, automated, and digital pharmaceutical manufacturing technologies to strengthen the integration of R&D and manufacturing services and provide global customers with efficient, flexible, and high-quality solutions.

A number of representatives from international and domestic pharmaceutical companies spoke at the event.

Dr. Shengming Ma, CAS member, said in his speech as Director of the SAC, that the Scientific Advisory Committee of Apeloa Pharmaceutical will strengthen the company’s capabilities in technology development and manufacturing to advance R&D projects from academia to industrialization and dedicate Apeloa's efforts to making greater contributions to society.

Mr. Xu Wencai, Director and Senior VP of Hengdian Group, said that the completion of the platform is an important milestone for the company to elevate its R&D and manufacturing capabilities for global pharmaceutical customers. Shengming Ma, Xu Wencai, Wu Xing, Zhu Fangmeng, and guests cut the ribbon together at the celebration and announced that the Apeloa Pharmaceutical CDMO Global Innovative Drug R&D Production Service Platform was ready for use. The Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Innovation Forum was then opened.

After the ceremony, guests visited the Apeloa Pharmaceutical Exhibition Hall and CDMO facilities. Strength in R&D innovation, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and corporate culture have instilled confidence in Apeloa’s future development and as a partner.

The Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Innovation Forum was held in the Apeloa Pharmaceutical Lecture Hall. Dr. Shengming Ma, Dr. Liu Tiangang, founder of Hopson Technology, and Dr. Xu Jianhong, professor at Tsinghua University and member of Apeloa Pharmaceutical Science and Technology Advisory Committee each made keynote presentations on topics in the fields of organic synthesis, synthetic biology, peptides, flow chemistry, and digitalization of production systems. The presentations were followed by discussions between speakers and forum guests.
